1900 Building announces The Natural Wine Festival, an afternoon party aimed to celebrate and educate on all things natural wine.
Enjoy tastings of pet-nats, organic, biodynamic and natural wines, shop cool local vendors in a fabulous setting complete with live music and light bites. Learn about what natural wine is, the processes of how it’s made and more!
Tickets are on sale now and are tiered: $35 (GA + raffle ticket) / $65 (GA, raffle ticket, tote bag) / $80 (early admission, raffle ticket, tote, ticket to Mountainfilm On Tour). A portion of the proceeds will go to Kanbe’s Market – a 501c not-for-profit “dedicated to eliminated food deserts in KC”
The opportunity to create the Natural Wine Festival presented itself by Doug Frost, a Master of Wine and Master Sommelier, and Beverage Director at The Restaurant at 1900. Mr. Frost’s passion for these wines and desire to educate the Kansas City market is how this festival came to be. Interest in natural wine has grown over the last 5 years – it’s fun, it’s fresh, it’s raw and we’re excited to showcase this evolving category of drink.
