You want it intense? Meet a fiery mix of talent and personalities. BAR takes the audience inside for an unprecedented look into the world of elite bartending, following five bartenders as they train for the world's premiere program in distilled spirits and mixology.
BAR follows five bartenders from across the country as they descend on the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York for the intensive Beverage Alcohol Resource certification program — five days of blind tastings, written exams, and hands-on service tests taught by some of the industry's most respected spirits educators. Over the course of an insane week, they test their skills, striving to pass rigorous exams and earn recognition as the world's leading bar professionals. For each of them, the certification is more than a credential — it's a turning point in careers built one shift, one pour, one late night at a time, and a chance to prove that bartending is a craft worth mastering.
