What areas can be rented within the 1900 Building? 

The Parkway Room, Rose Hall, Fountain Room, the Courtyard, the Lobby, the Roof Terrace, and Cafe 1900 are all available for private events, subject to availability.

 

What time can events begin and end in the 1900 Building? 

The 1900 Building has regular business hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Six-hour event time, three-hour set up time, unless agreed upon by 1900 Building management.  All events must end by 1:00 a.m.

 

Does the 1900 Building have parking for events? 

Private Parking is available with 100 covered parking spaces and 120 spaces on lot and parking structure. 

 

Do you have access for guests with disabilities? 

The 1900 Building is committed to making its facility accessible to all visitors. Guide dogs and animals for assisted therapy are welcome at the 1900 Building and Visitor Services and Security staff are available to assist with first aid.

 

Can I bring in an outside caterer Not on the preferred caterer list? 

Caterers not on the Preferred Catering list may be allowed with prior approval and a non-preferred caterer charge will be assessed.

 

Can I bring in my own entertainment, florist, etc? 

Yes. All vendors must be approved in advance and must have proper certificates of insurance per our contract.

 

Is there a catering kitchen on site? 

Yes, the 1900 Building has a catering kitchen.

 

Is a deposit required to hold a date? 

Yes, 1900 Building can only hold a date following receipt of a 50 percent non-refundable deposit for the room fee.

 

Can I hire an outside audio/visual company for my event? 

The 1900 Building offers state-of-the-art audio/visual technology. If staff are unable to accommodate your needs, the 1900 Building will suggest outside vendors who have worked here successfully for other clients. You may select your own outside vendor as well, subject to approval.

 

Can I hire an outside photographer or videographer? 

Yes. All vendors must be approved in advance and must have proper certificates of insurance per our contract

What is your smoking policy? 

Smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of the building, including Courtyard and Roof Terrace per LEED GOLD standards.
